Manon grew up in the dance world. She started at the age of 5 doing classical ballet, tap dance and social dancing in her parents dance school. Even at this tender age, Manon was devoted to the pleasures of dancing, participating in all the choreographies and activities of the dance school.

Manon's small steps have become giant steps:

At 8 years old, she won 1st place at the Canadian Juvenile Latin Championships and at 17, her first trip to Blackpool, England with her partner Danny Quilliam to compete amongst the best amateur dancers at the world level in dancesport.

April    1994:   21st place at the World Amateur Standard Championship

July     1994:   Gold medalist- North American Amateur Standard Championship in Cherry Hill. N.J

April    1995:   Gold medalist- Canadian Amateur Standard Championship in modern dances placing first in the 5 compulsory dances with a unanimous vote.

In May 1995 they competed in their first competition at the professional level in England and since they have continued to perform in their discipline wining:

2nd place at the Canadian Professional Standard Championship
2nd place at the Canadian Professional 10 dances Championship
2nd place at the North American Professional 10 dances Championship

They represented Canada at the World Championship for 10 consecutive years and the 20th place at the World Championship for 2 consecutive years.

Graduated at the international level from the Canadian Dance Teacher Association (C.D.T.A.) Manon teaches dancesport in both categories, standard and latin, and she is a well appreciated coach amongst the best dance champions in the competition environment.

Besides dancing, Manon finished her studies in administration at the HEC at the University of Montreal and she also has the talent of a seamstress. She created her own dance costumes and now creates costumes for many amateur champions and professionals.

Manon, who is the owner of CHOICE CANADA, division of Choice London, offers all her customers imported fabrics and stones necessary for the creation of the costumes.

Manon follows her dancers careers closely and encourages them by giving good advice to continue performing in the most beautiful sport in the world which is Dancesport.
